McKayla Session Previews - Fort Wayne High School Senior Photographer

And now for McKenna's sneak peeks!! McKenna is a 2016 senior at Homestead high school in Fort Wayne, and my first class of 2016 senior for the year!  She is just the cutest thing ever!! I had a blast photographing her last week I just adore her and her boho style! Salome Photography - Award Winning High School Senior Photographer - PUSH Conference

Last week I attended the PUSH Conference in Greencastle Indiana, sponsored by Senior Style Guide, Pro DPI, Rice Studio Supply, Sticky Albums, Sigma, Photo Flash Drive, The Modern Collective, Studio Flow, Prep Cosmetics, and more!    It was two days of learning from some of the best photographers and teachers in the Senior Portrait industry.    It was an amazing time, full of fun, styled shoots, and learning everything from studio lighting, to skin tones, to senior model programs, to marketing, and more!    This was a "sleep optional" event and it was jam packed with learning opportunities!     I don't typically invest in photography workshops and conferences, but I'm SO GLAD that I did for this one, as it was an amazing experience, and I feel like I not only learned so much, but I came away with some wonderful industry friends!

They held an image contest on the last evening, and out of over 340 entries, my image of Kenzie was chosen for the winning image in the Studio category!    I feel so blessed and honored, and I'm still on cloud 9 that I won this award!    It's an amazing honor, because I was up against 50 of the best senior photographers in the country, and I know there had to have been some seriously stunning images entered.

Thank you SO MUCH to PUSH, the judges, the speakers, and the sponsors for this amazing event!  I can't wait for 2016, and it's going to be even better and bigger!!!  

I'll also be sharing some of my images from the styled shoots in an upcoming blog post!  (Apologizing right now for the awful cell phone images, but I just have to share!!)

New Studio Grand Opening!! - Angola High School Senior Photographer

The studio has moved, and we finally had our Grand Opening!  I'm so excited to announce the new studio, and share photos from our new ultra posh space!    The studio is so much roomier, and will allow for much more room when shooting in studio, as well as just hanging out and having more room for friends and family who like to acompany my seniors to their sessions and reveals!

The studio has a super fun beverage and snack bar, complete with a pink Keurig brewer, and a beautiful couch, sparkling pillows, crystal light fixtures, and a huge new dressing room!
