I've been in the process of converting my website to WP this winter..  There's going to be a lot of DYNAMIC media involved, and I'm so excited to share when it's all finished!

I have been thinking a lot about what inspires me.. what makes me "tick", and how I arrive at the images that I do.. and the final look that is known as Salome Photography.

When people see my work, they usually comment on my use of light.. how it fills the images and draws you in
like a lazy summer afternoon.

I am a lover of light, a lover of nature.. the trees swaying in the wind and the breeze blowing wisps of
hair around my face. I love light that is strong and bold, the way it warms my soul and causes me to
dream. I love light that is hidden in the shadows. Light that is soft, cool and mysterious. There
are so many attributes, so many faces of light.

Light is my brand, it is my what fills my work, and what I use to draw YOUR soul into your own                                                                                                                                                                    AH- MAZING images.

We had fun taking photos downtown, on dirt roads, and even in the cornfield! Brittany, you are a wonderful girl, and I'm so blessed to have met you guys!! I wish you all good things in the future!!

So I've been a little (Ok, A LOT) behind on blogging the past year.. I'm going to post a few of my latest sessions from 2012 to get caught up.. So get ready for some GAWgeous seniors!!

Up first is the AH-MAZING miss Tamarah! She's with the 2013 graduating class from Northrop HS. She was witty, fun, and could rock Owls like no other!! We had such a blast with her senior photos!! Give it up for miss Tamarah!!

 

Woodland Shoot for BellaSorella Couture - Ft. Wayne Commercial Photography

I was honored to be able to shoot a Woodland Fairy concept shoot for the VERY talented Shannon Barker of BellaSorella Couture!    She designed some very beautiful headpieces and a bracelet for this woodsy, whimsical concept!    This kind of thing is RIGHT up my alley, and I couldn't feel more honored!!  I also had the great pleasure of working with two very talented and beautiful models - Rachel and Kateryna.    Thank you Shannon for making this shoot possible!    You can check out her beautiful designs, and make them your own HERE.
